Learning without Limits Seminars

The Ultra-fast Broadband in Schools (UFBiS) programme is running nationwide seminars which started on 23 July, these seminars are to be held in 24 locations over eight weeks.

The Seminars are presented by Marg McLeod and Howard Baldwin from the Ministry’s UFBiS Change Management team, the seminars will provide schools with key information on the roll out of ultra-fast broadband and the Network for Learning. They will also update schools on other key initiatives such as SNUP (School Network Upgrade Project), findings from the National Education Network trial, Professional Learning Development and the School Infrastructure Survey.

The seminars are an opportunity for schools to learn more about ultra-fast broadband and the opportunities it will create, including the benefits of the Network for Learning.

During the planning phase Torque IP were cognisant of current needs whilst looking to the future. Implementation was rigorous, keeping contractors to deadlines and industry standards. Their quality control kept contractors accountable. The result is an ultra-fast network; it’s like moving from a Tiger Moth to a Skyhawk.
