The scope of the DIDC covers everything from managing inpatient and outpatient flow, IT network design, networking infrastructure, audio-visual systems, security systems, and patient care and entertainment systems. The DIDC is developing the requirements for the unified digital platform that will enable the New Dunedin Hospital to operate its facility effectively, efficiently, and for the benefit of the community in Southland.
