Independent Quality Assurance

There's a reason we provide investigation and advisory services to MBIE, the Building Practitioners Board and the Electrical Workers Registration Board.

It's our expertise and independence.

Time is money. So let us ensure your project speeds through the process by complying with industry best practice, Ministry standards and other relevant building code and regulatory requirements from day one.

Torque IP has been providing Quality Assurance on ICT infrastructure projects and network deployments since 2005.

Our staff are trained in required QA processes and are called in by project managers, end users or other consultants to provide an independent Quality Assurance on projects to ascertain compliance of installations to necessary standards. We are on the MBIE Building and Electrical Special Advisor Panel and provide investigation and advisory services relating to issues or complaints registered with the Building Practitioners Board and the Electrical Workers Registration Board.

As independent advisors we do not supply or install equipment or infrastructure. Our role is to supervise projects and subject suppliers and contractors to a rigorous checking process to ensure what they deliver complies with industry best practice, Ministry standards and other relevant building code and regulatory requirements. For deployments managed by Torque IP we provide a warranty assurance.

What does it mean to be TorqueIP ‘Assured’?  The customer receives our plain English, independent assessment of the existing infrastructure. At the end of the project we make an independent assessment of the work completed to ensure that the required standards have been met and that the project won’t be signed off until  compliance is met.

During the planning phase Torque IP were cognisant of current needs whilst looking to the future. Implementation was rigorous, keeping contractors to deadlines and industry standards. Their quality control kept contractors accountable.
