Torque IP's approach to Asbestos Testing

In NZ we don’t have the specialised equipment needed for crucial asbestos testing, our commitment to accuracy took Helen on a journey to Brisbane not only to check out the surf, but to visit French technician, Jordan at Cohlabs and their state-of-the-art facilities.
Helen and her daughter Maggie were in Queensland for an international surf life-saving competition when they took the opportunity to visit this incredible lab. They learned about the testing process for determining if their vinyl samples contained asbestos.
Torque IP had received mixed results from labs in NZ - some said the samples were clear, while others flagged potential asbestos. To ensure the safety and accuracy for our clients, we decided to send these samples to Brisbane for a definitive answer. At Torque IP, we’re dedicated to making sure there’s absolutely no risk, especially as we oversee the installation of carpets across numerous sites.
It’s our job to keep things safe while project managing your site, our client’s safety is our top priority, thank you to Jordan and the Cohlabs team!
